    • Detailed evaluation reports, performance scores, analysis, and recommendations.
    • Interview history, completed sessions, and day-streak statistics.
  4. Usage Information:
    • App usage statistics (e.g., session durations, features used).
    • Error logs and crash reports.
    • Device type, OS version, and language settings.

How We Use Your Information

Audio and Document Processing - Important

Your voice inputs and documents are handled with strict privacy protocols:

  • ✅ Microphone Processing: Your voice responses during mock interviews are recorded and processed in real-time to generate speech-to-text transcription and formulate AI replies.
  • ✅ No Permanent Audio Storage: Original raw audio files or recordings are processed temporarily for the session and are not permanently stored on our servers.
  • ✅ Stored Context: Text inputs (such as pasted JDs, selected skills, and notes) and AI feedback reports are securely saved in your database profile so you can review your history anytime.

Claira utilizes the following trusted third-party services:

  • Google Sign-In
  • Google Gemini AI / AI Service Provider
    • Purpose: Conversational AI coaching and live mock interview generation.
    • Processes your interview text inputs and transcriptions temporarily.
    • Google Privacy Policy
  • RevenueCat & Google Play Billing / App Store Billing
  • Firebase Services (Analytics & Crashlytics)
  • Cloud Hosting & Databases
    • Purpose: Secured, encrypted cloud storage for your account profile, interview details, and feedback reports.

Permissions Required

The app requests the following device permissions:

  • Internet Access: Required to communicate with our servers, process conversations with Gemini AI, sync your profile, and handle subscriptions.
  • Microphone Access (Critical): Required to capture your voice answers during live mock interviews. Denying this permission will prevent you from participating in voice-based mock interviews.
  • Storage / Document Access (Optional): Required to upload text notes or study guides as custom context from your device's file picker.

Data Security

We take your security seriously:

  • Your interview history and evaluation reports are stored securely in the cloud with industry-standard encryption.
  • Google Sign-In authentication ensures secure credentials.
  • Regular security patches are applied to our backend infrastructure.
  • However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Use the service at your own discretion.

Your Data Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • ✅ Access: View all your mock interview sessions and feedback reports at any time.
  • ✅ Deletion: Delete individual interviews or mock sessions from your history.
  • ✅ Account Termination: Delete your account completely. All account data, credits, history, and generated reports will be permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days of account deletion.

Data Sharing

We do NOT:

  • Sell your personal or mock interview data to anyone.
  • Share your interview answers or reports with third-party advertisers.
  • Use your customized interview data or inputs to train external AI models.
  • Share data with unauthorized parties.

We only share data with essential service providers:

  • Google Gemini AI (temporary session processing only).
  • Cloud hosting infrastructure (secure, encrypted storage).
  • Analytics services (anonymous usage statistics).

Subscription and Billing

  • Payments are securely handled via Google Play Billing / App Store Billing and managed through RevenueCat.
  • We do not collect or store your credit card details.
  • Subscriptions and credits can be cancelled or managed anytime through your respective App Store or Google Play account.

Log Data

In the event of an app error, we collect diagnostic logs including:

  • Device IP address (anonymized)
  • Device name and OS version
  • App configuration details
  • Date and time of the crash/error
  • Specific trace logs to debug the issue

Children's Privacy
